Your child is the curriculum
We use each child's natal chart as their own, unique curriculum. Yes, children do come with instructions and it is called a natal chart in astrology.
Using their chart that I obtain with their birthdate, location of birth, and exact time of birth we can discover what their primary life's purpose is, what their emotional needs are to feel safe and secure, and what their motivation for life is. We also look at the way in which they need to be nurtured and how they nurture. This is something parents already have clues about and it's validated in the child's chart.
When we open up to these possibilities, and hold space and support who they are, we can provide materials/experiences/guidance for them to grow and develop in ways congruent with their purpose.
Using the Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines, we monitor your child's growth and development using monthly lesson plans, an assessment checklist, work sampling/photos/observations using the portfolio method, in which children are actively involved. They will know what their portfolio is, and have access to it every day. This information is shared with you at a minimum of twice a year at the parent/teacher conference.
